Hilary graduated with her Master’s degree in Social Work from The Florida State University.  She has been a registered Social Worker with the OCSWSSW since 2000.  Hilary has 18 years of experience as a Clinical Social Worker providing psychotherapeutic services in the areas of grief/loss, chronic illness and end stage medical conditions, depression/anxiety, trauma and marriage and family counselling.  Her career has taken her from Florida and back to Canada.  Before joining TMP she was working in Renfrew County.  Her recent position was as a full-time social worker with Canadian Forces Base Petawawa’s, Mental Health Services. 

Hilary also has background in the area of dance and spirituality.  She studied dance from a young age and in university.  She is also finishing a Master’s degree in Pastoral Theology.  Hilary uses experiential therapy techniques, combining movement therapy and spirituality, in her work with clients suffering from trauma issues.  She believes that ‘healing’ comes when all aspects of the individual are cared for.
